4 Steps Your Business Can Take to Support Refugees

Partners of the Businesses for Refugees pledge will provide resources to signatories that are interested in taking their pledge commitment a step further. These resources will include pathways to design and implement projects to hire refugees, connect companies with volunteer opportunities, support inclusion, and promote dialogue on issues critical to refugee protection.

1. Hire

Partners of the pledge are available to help business leaders design and implement projects to hire refugees. This could include direct hires, temporary hires, contract services, remote hires, apprenticeships, internships, and other training opportunities.

2. Volunteer

Partners of the pledge are available to help companies design workplace volunteering efforts, mentorship programs, and effective pathways for in-kind donations to support refugees.

3. Support Inclusion

Partners of the pledge are available to help businesses learn about best practices on refugee integration in their workforce, including by creating workplace affinity groups for refugees and addressing language and transportation barriers.

4. Connect

Partners of the pledge are available to help companies connect with refugee leaders, host dialogues, and use their platform to elevate information and campaigns that support refugee inclusion.
