What It Means To Welcome: Refugee Perspectives

What does it mean to welcome people who have been forcibly displaced into your community? How can our communities foster belonging? How can we demonstrate to our new neighbors that they are seen?

To answer these questions in celebration of Welcoming Week, on September 14, 2023, members of the Refugee Storytellers Collective shared reflections from their experiences finding belonging in their new communities and provided advice to everyday Americans on welcoming newcomers.
